TC: Transformative Creativity!
Join Teachers College Alumni, Jody Gottfried Arnhold (MA, ‘72) and Ann Biddle (MA ‘89), as they lead TC: Transformative Creativity, a Dance Education Laboratory Movement Sentence Choir. As a renowned exemplar of the progressive praxis legacy of Teachers College, the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) teacher professional development program was first founded by Jody thirty years ago in collaboration with founding teacher Ann. Since then, they have inspired thousands of dance educators through their innovative pedagogy and leadership, drawing upon their heritage at Teachers College. In 2025-2026, organizations from around the world created DEL Movement Sentence Choirs to celebrate Jody and Ann and the 30th Anniversary of DEL. Teachers College is the home these two extraordinary pioneers returned to on April 12, 2026, to celebrate their legacy-filled milestone.
